Product Information
The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.
Item should be physically in stock
If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...
Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.
This is a preorder item
If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.
Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.
Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.
Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.
Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order
This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 The Vampire Bat
Published with a cover date of September 1997 by DC Comics, this Annual issue ties into the wider Pulp Heroes event. Written by Dennis O’Neil, with pencils by Jim Aparo, inks by James Hodgkins, and colors by Demetrius Bassoukos, the story blends noir-inspired crime drama with Azrael’s mythos and showcases a rare crossover with Catwoman.
The mission begins when Sister Lilhy directs Azrael and Brian Bryan to recover an ancient crystal bat statue once owned by the Order of St. Dumas. Their search leads them to San Francisco, where Jean-Paul meets the elusive collector Mr. Wrail—who refuses to sell the artifact. Determined to retrieve it, Azrael returns under cover of night but falls into a pit beneath Wrail’s mansion.
As Wrail prepares to kill him using an experimental steel-cutting security laser, Catwoman intervenes, disabling the guards with her trademark agility. After tending Azrael’s injuries, she negotiates a temporary alliance to recover the statue—for a price.
Posing as “Serena Riley,” Catwoman infiltrates Wrail’s home once more, but he drugs her and has her restrained. Meanwhile, one of Wrail’s own men steals the statue and attempts to sell it, only to be shot by rival thieves. Drawn into the chaos, Azrael is forced into a final standoff at Golden Gate Park, where he destroys the crystal bat by throwing it into the path of Wrail’s laser. With Wrail’s obsession shattered, Azrael frees Catwoman and ends the pursuit for the dangerous relic.
