Product Information
The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.
Item should be physically in stock
If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...
Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.
This is a preorder item
If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.
Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.
Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.
Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.
Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order
This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 The Pursuit
Cover-dated October 2000, this issue continues Azrael’s brutal desert ordeal. Written by Dennis O’Neil with art by Sergio Cariello and James Pascoe, the story places Jean-Paul Valley in a harsh battle of survival, morality, and identity as he confronts both McGog and the deadly Faux-Azrael.
McGog regains consciousness after Jean-Paul’s earlier assault, taunting him for not killing him outright. Jean-Paul refuses to give McGog the quick death he desires, insisting he wants him to face justice for the murder of a woman who may have been Jean-Paul’s mother. Nomoz urges Jean-Paul onward—the desert will kill them if they don’t reach the Order’s abandoned laboratory soon.
The Faux-Azrael attacks unexpectedly, blinding Jean-Paul with sand before fleeing. McGog uses the chaos to escape restraint, but Jean-Paul quickly regains control and subdues both prisoners. He buries the murdered woman in an unmarked grave, wrestling with doubt about her final moments and whether she was protecting him or the imposter. Nomoz reminds him not to let guilt cloud the truth of her sacrifice.
McGog’s soldiers eventually track them in an armored Hummer, opening fire across the dunes. Jean-Paul leaps onto the vehicle, disabling it and its riders in a violent confrontation. He shares the last canteen of water among the group, prioritizing Nomoz and the imposter before McGog, who mocks Jean-Paul’s tactical oversight—he never destroyed the soldiers’ ability to call for reinforcements.
Helicopters thunder overhead, carrying McGog’s elite troops. With no other option, Jean-Paul has Nomoz restore the Faux-Azrael’s armor. The two Azraels fight side-by-side, overwhelming the soldiers. As Nomoz prepares a helicopter to evacuate McGog, the Faux-Azrael vanishes into the desert.
Jean-Paul delivers McGog to a U.S. military outpost, only to learn that because McGog falls outside their legal jurisdiction—and Jean-Paul is not recognized as law enforcement—they must release him. McGog leaves with a smirk and a twisted compliment, leaving Jean-Paul furious and defeated as the desert winds close behind him.
