Product Information
The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.
Item should be physically in stock
If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...
Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.
This is a preorder item
If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.
Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.
Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.
Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.
Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order
This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 New Order
Cover-dated July 2000, this issue marks a tonal shift as Jean-Paul Valley begins redefining his identity after abandoning the original Azrael mantle one month earlier. Written by Dennis O’Neil with art by Roger Robinson and James Pascoe, the story introduces a dangerous new status quo through the return of Lilhy—and the shocking debut of a new, lethal Azrael.
Leslie Thompkins and Brian Bryan celebrate Jean-Paul’s symbolic “birthday,” commemorating his shedding of the old Azrael identity. The warmth of the moment quickly gives way to Jean-Paul’s lingering thoughts about the Order of St. Dumas and Lilhy’s absence.
Unbeknownst to him, Lilhy has returned to Gotham in spectacularly ruthless fashion. Having stolen major artifacts from the Order, she attempts to sell them to a wealthy collector for twenty million dollars. The deal turns bloody when the collector double-crosses her. With chilling efficiency, Lilhy’s new Azrael brutally kills the collector and his guards, leaving Lilhy to simply take the antiques by force.
That same night, Jean-Paul broods atop a church until Batgirl arrives. Though she cannot speak, her presence—and her silent disappointment at seeing him out of costume—makes Jean-Paul question who he is without the Azrael identity. After she departs, Batman arrives with a revelation that shakes Jean-Paul to his core: his biological mother may still be alive, having possibly fled the Order.
The issue closes with Jean-Paul caught between past and future, while Lilhy charts a new and dangerous path of power, corruption, and manipulation—ushering in a true “new order” for the world of Azrael.
