Product Information
The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.
Item should be physically in stock
If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...
Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.
This is a preorder item
If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.
Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.
Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.
Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.
Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order
This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 The Quakists
Cover-dated April 2000, this chapter marks a dramatic escalation in Jean-Paul’s ongoing struggle for autonomy as Nicholas Scratch returns—claiming illness, seeking refuge, and manipulating Azrael with calculated precision. Written by Dennis O’Neil with art by Roger Robinson and James Pascoe, the issue pushes Azrael back toward the violence he fears within himself.
Scratch arrives at Jean-Paul’s new free clinic, insisting that his crimes during No Man’s Land were the product of paranoia and schizophrenia. Brian Bryan urges Jean-Paul to show compassion—an uneasy truce that Azrael reluctantly accepts.
That night, while on patrol, Azrael encounters Huntress surveilling a violent extremist group calling themselves the Quakists. Their leader riles up a mob, and Huntress jumps in with no hesitation. Azrael joins her, but his inner rage overtakes him, pushing him far beyond restraint until the crowd flees in terror.
When Azrael returns to the church, Scratch offers him tea—subtly laced with a drug. As Jean-Paul collapses into unconsciousness, Scratch removes the new “Agent of the Bat” suit and replaces it with the original armored Azrael costume, planning to steer Jean-Paul back to his most dangerous instincts.
Jean-Paul awakens to find Quakists—invited by Scratch—soaking the church in gasoline. Forced into a corner, he dons the old suit to defend the clinic. But after the brutal fight ends, Brian makes a chilling discovery: one of the Quakists is dead. The implication is clear—Scratch has successfully pushed Azrael back toward lethal violence.
