Product Information

The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.

Real Image

Item should be physically in stock

If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...

Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.

Stock Image + Dates

This is a preorder item

If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.

Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.

Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.

Stock Image Only

Back issue ordered from distributor

If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.

We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.

These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.

Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.

Shipping & Mixed Orders

We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.

If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.

Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.

While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order

This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🎄 Presents of Mind

Cover-dated February 2000, this final No Man’s Land tie-in for the series blends emotional character work with the ongoing danger of Joker’s last, vicious scheme. Written by Dennis O’Neil with art by Roger Robinson and James Pascoe, the issue serves as a quiet yet powerful character moment for Jean-Paul and Cassandra during Gotham’s darkest winter.

Batman alerts his allies that Joker has kidnapped babies and intends to kill them, sending everyone scrambling across Gotham. At Leslie Thompkins’ clinic, Jean-Paul struggles to understand the meaning of Christmas until Batgirl arrives with a summons from Oracle.

As they travel to the Watchtower—and later to CampLex—Azrael and Batgirl bond through shared trauma as engineered child soldiers. Jean-Paul asks Batgirl to remove her mask, telling her she has a kind face, and Oracle surprises them both with their first Christmas gifts: perfume for Batgirl and a harmonica for Azrael.

On the road, Batgirl trades gifts, handing Azrael her perfume. His attempt at harmonica-playing starts off painfully, but after one more try he produces an unexpectedly beautiful melody, inspiring Batgirl to perform an acrobatic dance—her own Christmas gift to him. Jean-Paul regrets having nothing for her in return.

At CampLex, the mission turns deadly. Attacked by LexCorp security under Mercy Graves, Azrael recognizes that Joker has booby-trapped the building’s Christmas tree with explosive baby dolls. A split-second before detonation, Azrael throws himself over Mercy and Batgirl, absorbing the blast and suffering severe burns.

Recovering at Leslie’s clinic, Jean-Paul learns his sacrifice saved two lives. His hair burned away, but his armor kept him alive. Among the debris, he had managed to retrieve a small ornament—an angel figurine. When Batgirl visits him, he gives her the angel as his Christmas gift.
