Product Information
The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.
Item should be physically in stock
If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...
Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.
This is a preorder item
If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.
Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.
Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.
Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.
Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order
This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 The Night Foretold!
With a cover date of September 1999, this chapter of the No Man’s Land event continues Azrael’s pursuit of Nicholas Scratch while deepening tensions within the Bat-family. Written by Dennis O’Neil, penciled by Roger Robinson, inked by James Pascoe, and colored by Rob Ro and Alex Bleyaert, the story blends dream imagery, psychological conflict, and escalating stakes across Gotham.
The issue opens with Azrael dreaming of a western-style duel, imagining himself as Batman’s companion as he faces down Nicholas Scratch in a dusty frontier showdown. The vision ends abruptly when Leslie Thompkins wakes him, noting he fell asleep while searching for medical supplies and reading an old gunslinger novel.
Meanwhile, chaos unfolds in Gotham as a gunman shoots a local resident. Batgirl intervenes, bringing the victim to Leslie’s clinic. Azrael joins Batgirl in retracing her steps, where they apprehend the gunman—who appears uninjured yet collapsed, hinting at Scratch’s influence. Upon hearing the attacker say the name “Nick,” Azrael concludes that Scratch is again at work inside No Man’s Land.
Batman arrives to reinforce the mission: Azrael must bring Scratch in alive. Batgirl is assigned as his partner while Nightwing and Robin begin their own tasks elsewhere in the ruined city. The trail leads Azrael and Batgirl to an armed gathering where Scratch rallies supporters with promises of seizing Gotham by force. Jean-Paul infiltrates the crowd in disguise, only to be recognized by a man he previously brought to Leslie’s clinic.
The scene erupts into chaos as Scratch’s followers pursue him. Nicholas Scratch intercepts Jean-Paul directly, confirming his identity as Azrael and approaching with clear malicious intent as the issue reaches its cliffhanger.
