Product Information

The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.

Real Image

Item should be physically in stock

If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...

Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.

Stock Image + Dates

This is a preorder item

If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.

Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.

Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.

Stock Image Only

Back issue ordered from distributor

If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.

We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.

These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.

Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.

Shipping & Mixed Orders

We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.

If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.

Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.

While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order

This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 Devil Down Below

Published with a cover date of May 1999 by DC Comics, this chapter of the ongoing No Man’s Land saga continues Azrael’s dangerous descent into Gotham’s fractured landscape. Written by Dennis O’Neil, penciled by Roger Robinson, inked by James Pascoe, and colored by Rob Ro and Alex Bleyaert, the issue presents a tense mixture of psychological dread, urban danger, and human desperation.

The story opens with Mitzi Fredang trapped in the unstable upper floors of a collapsed Gotham building, while the monstrous Calibax lurks below. Meanwhile, Nicholas Scratch manipulates a pair of U.S. Marshals, hypnotizing them into transporting him toward Gotham under the guise of delivering a message. Azrael observes Scratch from a distance but is approached by Mrs. Jasper Fredang, who begs him to help her find her missing daughter. Reluctantly, he agrees.

To gain access to the Marshals' boat, Azrael creates a fiery distraction, allowing himself and Mrs. Fredang to slip aboard. Scratch forces the Marshals to ferry him across as well, until gunfire breaks his hypnotic hold. Azrael intervenes, neutralizing the attackers, though Scratch uses the chaos to escape deeper into No Man’s Land.

Inside the ruined building, fear and hunger push Mitzi’s companion Benny into reckless behavior. Venturing below for supplies, he crosses paths with Calibax and is killed, leaving Mitzi alone and terrified. Hearing her screams, Azrael rushes in and confronts Calibax in a brutal struggle. Though weakened, he manages to hurl the creature from the building, ending the threat.

Mrs. Fredang arrives moments later, overwhelmed with emotion at seeing her daughter alive. In a startling moment of catharsis, she fires a gun at Mitzi—missing intentionally—explaining that she needed to release the pent-up anguish of their ordeal. Mother and daughter then embrace, offering Azrael a rare moment of warmth and hope within the bleak confines of No Man’s Land.
