Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.

If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.
Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.
Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.
Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.
Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order
This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.

Published in July 1995 by DC Comics, this chapter of the “Fallen Angel” storyline follows Azrael’s escalating confrontation with Ra’s al Ghul and the League of Assassins. Written by Dennis O’Neil, illustrated by Barry Kitson with inks by James Pascoe, and colors by Demetrius Bassoukos and Digital Hellfire, the issue intensifies Jean-Paul Valley’s moral and psychological struggles.
Seeking the release of Brian Bryan and Sister Lilhy, Azrael challenges Ra’s al Ghul directly in Mobari. Although Brian urges Azrael to avoid further violence, Ra’s al Ghul orders a deadly test of Azrael’s abilities by sending five assassins against him. Azrael defeats them, but tragedy strikes when Brian falls from a window and dies during the battle.
In a shocking display of power, Ra’s al Ghul resurrects Brian using the Lazarus Pit, showcasing both the danger and allure of his influence. He offers Azrael unimaginable gifts—wealth, power, immortality, and even his daughter Talia al Ghul—if Azrael agrees to serve him. Yet Jean-Paul rejects the offer, believing he is already enslaved by the “System” that governs his life.
The issue deepens the themes of temptation, destiny, and autonomy, framing Azrael’s struggle between imposed purpose and free will while underscoring the dangerous reach of the League of Assassins.
