Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.

If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.

Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.

Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:

Published with a cover date of March 1998 by DC Comics, this issue concludes the intense showdown between Azrael and Bane. Written by Dennis OβNeil, illustrated by Roger Robinson, inked by James Pascoe, and colored by Demetrius Bassoukos, the story pushes Jean-Paul Valley to the edge both physically and mentally.
Azrael has been captured by Bane, who subjects him to experimentation using a new and unstable variant of the Venom formula. Alongside Nomoz, who is imprisoned with him, Azrael manages to escape into the surrounding forest. There, isolated from Baneβs influence, he battles through the night to purge the Venom from his system and reclaim clarity of mind.
Reinvigorated and determined, Azrael returns to confront Baneβthis time not relying solely on brute strength but applying strategy, discipline, and skill. The resulting showdown demonstrates Jean-Paulβs evolution, proving that he can defeat one of Batmanβs fiercest enemies while relying on his own identity rather than the unstable "system" within him.
Both Batman and Alfred Pennyworth make appearances, further tying the conflict into the wider Gotham mythos and emphasizing the significance of Azraelβs personal growth through this ordeal.
