Product Information

The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.

Real Image

Item should be physically in stock

If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...

Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.

Stock Image + Dates

This is a preorder item

If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.

Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.

Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.

Stock Image Only

Back issue ordered from distributor

If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.

We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.

These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.

Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.

Shipping & Mixed Orders

We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.

If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.

Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.

While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order

This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.

If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 Azrael Genesis: Run, Angel, Run

Published with a cover date of October 1997 and released on August 13, 1997 by DC Comics, this issue ties into the larger Genesis crossover event. Written by Dennis O’Neil, penciled by Vincent Giarrano, inked by James Pascoe, and colored by Demetrius Bassoukos and Prismacolor, the story casts Azrael into a cosmic test of identity and compassion.

Azrael encounters one of Darkseid’s Parademons, who challenges him to a duel where the victor will claim Azrael’s soul. Glinda the Witch warns him that the confrontation is inevitable and that compassion—not violence—will be his greatest weapon. Unsure of her meaning, Azrael flees repeatedly, believing he cannot stand against such a powerful foe.

Attempting to escape the threat, Azrael hitches a train ride to Gotham City, where he meets a young boy named Willy Ronton. With help from Oracle, Azrael locates Willy’s father, only to witness the man cruelly reject his son. The emotional moment crystallizes Glinda’s message as Azrael realizes that strength is not solely rooted in combat.

When the Parademon reappears demanding battle, Azrael refuses to fight, choosing instead to comfort Willy. Sensing no honor in taking the soul of someone motivated by compassion, the Parademon abandons its challenge in search of a “better warrior.” With the threat gone, Azrael embraces his newfound clarity, guiding Willy toward a safe home while reaffirming his commitment to empathy as a source of power.
