Product Information
The product image and title will determine what type of item you are purchasing. Please review the sections below carefully.
Item should be physically in stock
If the listing displays a real photograph of the book, we should currently have that exact item in our inventory. Please Do NOT Purchase a non Pre-Order Book That is missing a picture, As we likely DO NOT Have it and will have to refund it if you purchase it. If you want us to look for a book that doesn't have an image, please message us to confirm we have it before buying...
Our inventory is extremely large and occasionally subject to discrepancies. If an issue arises, we will ensure that you either receive the correct item or are issued a full refund.
This is a preorder item
If the listing uses a stock image and includes an Order By date or In Store date in the title, the book is a pre-release item.
Orders must be placed by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on the Order By date to guarantee availability.
Images, Order By dates, and In Store dates are all subject to change.
Back issue ordered from distributor
If the listing uses a stock image and does not include an Order By date or In Store date, the book is not currently in our inventory.
We will place an order through our distributor and must wait for them to ship the item to us before we can ship it to you.
These items will typically not ship for at least one week after your order is placed.
Distributor inventory and cover images are subject to change at any time.
Shipping & Mixed Orders
We ship each order once, after all items in that order are in our possession.
If your order includes a mix of in-stock books and preorder or distributor items, the entire order will be held until every item has been received.
Preorders and distributor-sourced books may significantly delay shipment. Release dates frequently change, sometimes by several months.
While we can accommodate mixed orders if necessary, we strongly recommend placing:
• In-stock back issues in one order
• Preorder items in a separate order
This also applies to preorder-only orders. These orders will not ship until all items have been released and received by us.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange your order differently, please message us and we will be happy to assist.

🔥 Angel and the Monster Maker, Part 3: Epiphany!
Published with a cover date of September 1997 by DC Comics, this conclusion to the “Angel and the Monster Maker” arc blends psychological symbolism, horror elements, and action. Written by Dennis O’Neil with artwork by Roger Robinson, inks by James Pascoe, and colors by Demetrius Bassoukos, the issue pushes Azrael into a surreal confrontation with monsters—both literal and internal.
The story opens as Hiram and Otto Nadir flee their factory hideout. Azrael defeats the werewolf and pursues the mad scientists back to their laboratory, where Otto violently turns on his own father by throwing a mutagenic serum in Hiram’s face. The serum transforms Hiram into a monstrous, octopus-like creature that entangles Azrael in its tentacles.
In the chaos, Azrael hurls another beaker of the serum, splashing himself, Otto, and Hiram. The chemicals induce vivid hallucinations—Azrael imagines transforming into a celestial angel, while in reality the serum has no physical effect on him or Hiram. Otto, however, is reduced to the form of a baby.
As Azrael consumes more of the serum, he undergoes another hallucination, this time envisioning himself as a devil. Glinda the Witch appears to remind him that both the angel and the devil dwell within him, and ultimately he must choose who he will become.
This symbolic finale brings Azrael face to face with his fractured identity, closing the Monster Maker arc on a thematic note that underscores his ongoing internal struggle.
