Drawing from Chadwick's own real-life experiences in the film industry, the story follows Ronald Lithgow (Concrete) as he joins the effects crew of a troubled blockbuster titled The Rulers of the Omniverse. Serving as a "one-man special effects team," Concrete must navigate massive egos, budgetary disasters, and literal swordfights on set.

Beyond the satire of Tinseltown, the narrative carries a tense undercurrent of mystery as Concrete begins to suspect someone is sabotaging his performance.
