Overview

Armageddon: Alien Agenda is a 4-issue miniseries spinning out of DC’s early-90s Armageddon event. Written by Jonathan Peterson with art by Dan Jurgens, Mike Netzer, Alan Weiss, and finishes by Steve Leialoha and Joe Rubinstein, the story follows Captain Atom and Monarch as they are hurled through time by alien forces manipulating events on Earth.

Synopsis

What begins as a clash between Captain Atom and Monarch quickly becomes a cosmic chase through history. Stranded in disparate eras — from the dinosaur age, to ancient Rome, to the Old West, and finally WWII Europe — the two are forced into conflict and uneasy cooperation as the alien conspirators attempt to retrieve a powerful detonator lost in time.

Each issue highlights a different historical backdrop, expanding the mystery behind the aliens’ agenda while pushing Atom to his emotional and moral limits.
